今朝、寝惚け眼でカリフォルニアの中継を見ていたら、栗村さんが「カヴェンディッシュはアシストのレンショーのおかげでここまで連勝して……」とか言い出して、朝っぱらからなんとも言い難い空気が漂っていた。サガンは3ステージ続けて2着だったがやっとステージ勝利。ゴールする瞬間の歓喜のフロントホップがかっこよかった。
